Osmond Family Reunion

Oprah Winfrey will have over 100 members of the Osmond Family reuniting on her show today. I have set my DVR to record this, because my sister and I are huge Osmond fans. We used to watch the Donnie & Marie Osmond show when we were little. And I actually saw the Osmond Brothers in Branson, MO about 17 years ago. They were great!

Supposedly, they had originally planned the reunion before the death of their 90 year old dad. He was planning to travel to Chicago, but unfortunately passed away Tuesday in his home in Provo, Utah. He was survived by nine children, 55 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren. All I can say is…Wow!

Class Reunion

Last weekend was my “almost” 20 year reunion. One of the reasons I haven’t had time to post anything in a while.

Anyway, instead of waiting until next year, the class of ‘87 invited the classes of ‘88 (my class) and ‘89 to have a 3 year reunion. At our school, our classes usually only consisted of about 30 students, so I’m really glad we did it that way. We had a great turnout! Friday night, each class met individually at different locations for a little “meet and greet” party. Then Saturday, all 3 classes got together for a huge party with an 80’s Band. I didn’t go to my 10 year reunion, so there were actually people there I hadn’t seen in 20 years!! It’s really strange how you can go that long without seeing someone, then when you do, it’s like it was yesterday. Here’s a picture of 2 of my best friends from high school.
