hi, it’s just now that i found out you have another hurricane coming. good thing you’re so prepared. here in the philippines it’s really a common thing that some people actually make a living out of it, shuttling people in makeshift boats sometimes, well after the storm.

anyway hope you guys make it ok.

Thanks you guys. Still unsure of where it will make landfall. It has been upgraded to a Category 4, and at 4AM tomorrow morning they will only be allowing northbound traffic on the major Interstate I-55 heading out of New Orleans. We’ll be fine, as I said before, we only suffered a 3 day power outage last time. But yeah…anything can happen, so just keep praying.

I hope it misses you all. One of my co-workers has a son that just moved back to New Orleans not that long ago. They were there during Katrina and moved here afterwards. Needless to say, he’s really worried about his son right now.

I’m praying you guys don’t have anything happen to you, and I hope that this hurricane blows over without doing much damage. Great kit advice, I think this would be good for any emergency.
