Found this video over at Bird On A Wire. This is just nuts!! And its funny I found this post today, because yesterday I was at the doc for a checkup, and there were TWO pregnant 15 year old girls in there with their moms. The girls were just sitting there laughing, like it was funny. And the two moms were even worse! They were happily discussing their daughter’s predicaments like they were glad to be getting a new baby in the family. But this was the best part, another lady walked in, and voiced her opinion to the two girls. Apparently she had been in the same situation as the girls years ago, and she told them both, “Now, it’s not all about you. That’s over.” And then she started talking about how painful labor was. It was hilarious. She definitely wiped the smiles off those girls faces. Here’s the video:

This was especially painful for me to see back before Little Dude, when I knew how badly I wanted to be pregnant, and it wasn’t happening for us – the happily married couple.
I just feel bad for the kids, who often get bounced to grandparents or the system, to be raised, when the teens suddenly realize they aren’t just cute accessories.

I can imagine how that made you feel, RC. My hubby and I spent several years trying before we were finally pregnant with our first. Yes..it’s very troubling to see these girls pregnant at such young ages. And it scares the heck out of me, because I have 3 of them. Hopefully I’ll be able to teach them right.

I saw this- UNBELIEVABLE!
I am surprised it wasn’t in the south- I live in the deep south and girls think they are infertile if they aren’t pregnant by 15! Give me a break people! Sorry for the rant!
