We are in the process of having the entire exterior painted. And I’m so excited. We’ve been needing to do this a very long time. We’ve lived in the house for over 5 years now, and a fresh paint job is way overdue. Here’s a picture of the house before the paint job, and the next picture was created using a cool program that we downloaded from the paint manufacturer, Benjamin Moore. It allows you to re-colorize your house with the paint that you have selected. And keep in mind, I know my house is small, and old, but it is our first home, and remember, I am a SAHM, and my hubby is the only one working, so unfortunately this house was all we could afford. I’m sure one day, we’ll have something bigger, but I think it’s going to look nice, don’t you? Tell me what ya think. Click to view a bigger image.

I’m going to check out that program. It’s very difficult to figure out what the color will actually look like until it’s up but this will help. I think the colors you have chosen will really lighten up your house! How exciting!

I think it looks great. i know how it is. im a sahm of 2 and we also live in our first home. not where i see myself in 10 years but its what works for now!

Your house is roughly the size and style of the first house we lived in, so be proud!
We built this house when we thought we wouldn’t be blessed with children, and had quite a bit of equity built up. But we do need two incomes to stay in it. Mixed feelings there, since we have Little Dude now.
Like I said - be proud! It is a beautiful home and I love the colors you are using. Enjoy!

WOW your house looks absolutely wonderful! The new color truly sets your house apart! It really makes your house noticable and it looks so clean and nice! Those are exactly the same kind of colors I would of chosen myself. Great job
