I’ve been taking a VERY WELL NEEDED break.  I was just a little stressed out and having stomach issues, but I’m feeling much better now.  I’m still not sure if I want to continue writing paid posts though.  I was really enjoying it, but the pressure was starting to get to me a little bit.  I may just kind of ease back into it.

The weather sure has changed around here.  I think Fall is finally here.  We’ve had several days in a row of highs in the 50’s and lows in the lower 40’s.  Still working on who’s wearing what for Halloween.  Allie already has her costume, a Dora Mermaid Princess, she looks so adorable in it.  Christopher has decided that he wants to be Wade the Duck from the Garfield and Friends TV show.  But I’ve been trying to explain to him that, nobody knows who Wade the Duck is, and they don’t make a costume like that.  Hopefully, I can talk him into being a Pirate or something.  He wants to wear makeup on his face, so that might work.

The twins are growing and eating me out of house and home.  Faith is almost walking, but right now just mainly cruising around the furniture and crawling.  Emma has made great progress in physical therapy.  Definitely a lot more mobile and reaching out more for toys and such.

We took all four kids to our annual Hot Air Balloon Festival.  That was an experience in itself.  Thank goodness I called my MIL and invited her to join us, because I don’t know how Steven and I would have handled on our own.  We also visited a Pumpkin Patch that the kids’ former preschool was having.  Here’s a great picture of Christopher and Allie at the Pumpkin Patch.

I’m going to be taking a break from blogging for a bit.  I just have a lot going on right now.  Hopefully, I’ll be back very soon.

Alright, the other day I came across this guy’s blog. And now, I can’t even remember how I ended up there. But, anyway, he had a post stating that he was giving people a chance to promote their blog, and he want you to leave a comment, with your blog address and then someone else that you thought he might be interested in. So, of course, I added my sister’s blog. But I feel awful, because I didn’t even bother taking a look around his blog, and what I didn’t know, is that he, too, has a son with Autism and posts about it quite often.

Today, when I was checking my stats I noticed that there was an incoming link from his blog. He had posted his reader created blogroll including Me. I thanked him, and it was then I started looking around his blog and found the posts on Autism. He really does know a lot about it, and it was comforting to know that we share so much in common. Not to mention, he also has twins!!

I’m just really glad that I found his blog and I can’t wait to read more. If you don’t already know this guy, go check him out!

Be A Good Dad

Thanks to my sister for the lovely birthday wish.  Yes…today is my birthday.  And I’m totally broke, so we won’t be celebrating it until the weekend, which is fine with me.  I really could care less either way.  But get this….now this is too funny…my phone was disconnected today, so no one will be able to call and wish me a “Happy Birthday”.  Isn’t that just absolutely hilarious??  HA HA HA!!!!!

I am in the process of a major laundry overhaul.  We have had tons of laundry that needs to be washed and folded in our bedroom.  I got so sick of looking at it, I decided that something had to be done.  So what did I do?  I asked my neighbor if I could use her washer and dryer so that I could do two loads at a time while she was gone out of town today.  We help each other out with stuff like that all of the time.  She was happy to help.
