I was delayed in getting my Harry Potter book due to the mix up with my husband’s direct deposit last week.  I wasn’t worried about not being able to find one because Wal-Mart had received over 500 books the day it was released, so I was pretty confident I would be able to get one.  I’m really slow reading it right now.  I guess I just have so much going on.  I’m probably just going to have to take a break from the computer, and really sit down and start reading.  Having four kids screaming and getting into things doesn’t help much either.  Maybe I’ll have it finished by the time the next movie comes out.  We’ll see…..

Wow, has it been one totally crazy week.  First, the issue with my husband’s direct deposit didn’t get resolved until Tuesday.  Then last Sunday, my husband was on his way home from work around 1AM.  He had decided to take a short cut home through  kind of rough part of town.  As he was passing a group of guys hanging out in a parking lot of a local bar, he heard two pops and felt the second hit his windshield.  He had been shot at!

When he finally realized what had happened, he stepped on the gas and called 911.  Since the road he was on led straight to the police department, they instructed him to come straight there.  They took a report from him and definitely said that it was a bullet that hit the windshield.  Fortunately it didn’t penetrate, but if it had it probably would have hit him.  Needless to say, he was pretty shaken up when he got home.

We’ll be getting the windshield fixed next week.  I don’t think I can stand looking at it much longer.  I’m just so glad that he wasn’t hurt.  I don’t know what I would do without him.  Let’s just say that he WILL NOT be coming home that way anymore!!

My husband’s payroll check wasn’t in our account like it was supposed to be today.  Their actual payday is on Mondays, but usually it shows up in our account on Saturdays.  So let’s just say I was pretty pissed.  We are stuck for two days without any money, and we are not sure what’s going on, because the bank said they didn’t even see a deposit pending for Monday!

What kills me, is that my husband is so nonchalant about the whole situation.  Here I am, freaking out, and he acts like he could care less!  He’s very confident that it will be there on Monday, and I’m NOT so confident.

 And even worse, I wasn’t able to go buy my new Harry Potter book this weekend!  I’m going to have to wait until Monday.  ARGGGHHH!!!!!

Did I ever say what a wonderful sister I have?  My sister did a VERY nice thing for me today.  I’ll just leave it at that.  Just wanted tell everyone how great and appreciated she is!

I have been needing to go on a diet for a very long time. It’s just that I feel like I’ve been pregnant for the past five years, and in the past, every time I would attempt to go on a diet, I’d get pregnant. Well….I assure you, that WILL NOT be happening again. Four kids is plenty for me. So we are absolutely DONE!!

I’m just having a little trouble getting motivated. I’ve done Weight Watchers in the past, and it worked for a little while. Last time I tried it, I lost 11 lbs the first 2 weeks. It was during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, so you can imagine how hard it was for me to remain on my diet. And then my mom passed away 2 days before Christmas, and I just lost the will power. She always wanted me to get healthy and lose weight, because she knew I would feel better about myself. So this time, if I do it, I’m going to try to do it for her.

I know that if I do lose weight I’m going to need a breast reduction as well. I’m going to have to check with my insurance company to see if they will cover it. I made need liposuction too, I’m not sure if the insurance will cover that either. Oh well, either way, I’ve got a long road ahead of me, but I’m ready.
